CLAPP (Cleft Lip & Palate Association of Pakistan) was founded in 2003 at Faisalabad, Pakistan with the main objective to provide free surgeries to all poor Cleft Lip & Palate patients, who cannot afford a single surgery which would change their whole Life – once forever from “Disabled to Enabled”. CLAPP was registered in 2006 with Provincial (Punjab) Government. Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) granted status of Income Tax Exemption since 2008.

CLAPP stands ready to serve as the Excellent premier resource for free surgeries of Cranio-facial Deformity, Club feet, Blindness due to Congenital Cataract, Hydrocephalus, Hole in the heart and Post-Burn Contractures in addition to cleft lip and palate, with ongoing research in these areas.
Overall, these congenital malformations directly affect the facial and mouth tissues. Usually, it happens in the early phases of the pregnancy, when the baby is still in the womb.
